Important note regarding the Gnu Lesser Public License

We have not discussed in any depth the question of whether we aim to create a commercial work, or an Open Source project. Some of the libraries listed on the Interesting Links page are covered by the [Gnu Lesser Public License] (formerly the Gnu Library Public License). Using such libraries requires you to make at least the object code for your program available, such that a user could relink your program with a different version of the GLPL'ed library.
